When we were very young someone had to look after us all the time. We were fed, washed . . . and so on. But as we got older, we began to learn to do things for ourselves. This is growing up. It's learning how to take responsibility for ourselves.
We do this S L O W L Y
we don't learn it all at once! But we can learn to make our own decisions, to look after ourselves, to keep ourselves safe.
